It's always best to hand wash any dirt or grime out of your gear, suspend it loosely in the air, and allow it to air dry. We do not recommend drying  your gear in a dryer. Once the gear is completely dry store your it in their stuff sacks in a cool dry place inside your home. You’ll want to avoid storing your gear wet for extended periods of time as this will cause mildew/mold, also avoid leaving it in direct sunlight for long periods of time as the ultraviolet rays will slowly degrade the fabrics waterproofness, lastly never setup within 50 feet of a campfire so as to avoid small ember burns/holes.

For the Inferno and Puffle most of the time you’ll be able to wipe off any dirt or mud with a damp towel, then allow it to air dry. If you’ve been on a 90 day through hike you may want to give it a little more attention - feel free to throw it in your washing machine and wash it on a gentle cycle, we recommend a non chemical based eco friendly detergent. Allow the product to air dry - if it is our Inferno or our Down Puffle once it is dry, place it in your dryer with a few tennis balls and NO HEAT, the tennis balls will help break up the down clusters and get your down nice and fluffy again, maximizing the products thermal efficiency! Do this as few of times as possible to prolong the life of the gear.
